Job Summary
Our client in Taylor is searching for an experienced Tube Bender Operator (CNC). This opportunity is on 2nd shift (3p-11p) Monday-Friday with possible overtime $30-$32 per hour.
The essential functions of the job include:
- Operating machinery and equipment as directed
- Interpreting blueprints; setting up and operating manual and CNC bending machines
- Verifying conformance of work piece to specifications
- Recognizing typical problems in parts and equipment when they occur
- Performing tool changeover and adjustments
- Cleaning and other general shop tasks
- Performing other incidental and related duties as required and assigned.
Skills required to carry out the essential functions include the ability to:
- Learn and master new skills
- Understand and follow directions and rules
- Safely and effectively operate various machinery and equipment
- Produce (quality and quantity) parts that meet specifications and expected output levels
- Visually identify and correct deficiencies in parts produced
- Interact appropriately and collaborate with fellow employees and management
- Communicate effectively (written and oral) with other WEI employees and management
- Demonstrate continuous effort to improve operations decrease turnaround times streamline work processes and work cooperatively and jointly to provide quality seamless customer service
- Work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with the flexibility to prioritize duties and multi-task at different levels
Equipment operated as part of the essential functions: (includes but is not limited to)
- CNC bending machines forklift truck telephone computer and related technology.
