EIFER seeks a student assistant to work on the topic Assessment of Geothermal Potential in France.

This position is based in Karlsruhe and is available to start as soon as possible.

Monthly working hours are based on the candidates qualifications:

No degree: 43.5 hours per month
Bachelors degree: 41 hours per month
Masters degree: 30 hours per month

Salary: 610 per month

Founded by EDF and KIT in 2002 EIFER bridges science and industry providing innovative energy solutions for a sustainable future.

Assist in the harmonisation of cartographic data.
Support the preparation of maps assessing geothermal potential.
Help with data preparation cleaning and analysis.

Currently enrolled as a University student.
Preferred study subjects: data sciences geography geology
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel PowerPoint).
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Interest in energy research and sustainability.
Working knowledge of French.
Experience working with GIS and modelling software (i.e. ArcGIS QGIS Python RStudio)
