As Modern Workplace Device Services candidate will enable customers Modern Device Management transformation journeys with best practices innovation and technical leadership. Responsible for providing technical leadership in the creation testing and delivery of technology solutions designed to meet customers business needs
The Modern Device Management Engineer is an experienced multi-skilled professional with hands on experience in Intune and Modern Workplace Management. He/she is a good team player who is part of a team responsible for delivering end-to-end support services to customers
Manage enterprise Mobile Device Management (MDM) and Modern device Management (UEM) platform by installing deploying updating and monitoring App usage on the company deployed mobile and endpoint devices. In addition provide technical support to customers via telephone web and face to face. This includes installing diagnosing troubleshooting repairing maintaining and upgrading all Software upgrade and Modern devices to ensure optimal mobile and endpoint system performance.
The Engineer is motivated to take strong ownership on actions to find innovative ways to improve the services agility and efficiency and to continuously gain more skills.
Responsibilities
Troubleshooting and working experience in SCCM 1611/1706/1806/1902 and later versions CB / Altiris
/ Now SM9)
Basic Windows OS and Networking Knowledge.
Basic Knowledge of incident management. Should be able to resolve the Release
Application deployment and monitoring
Patch management
Management incidents on SWD tools.
Flexible to work on a 24X7 basis.
Basic knowledge of AD and different AD groups
Basic infrastructure knowledge of the SWD tool
Client installation and Monitoring
Should work independently on Reports Device health management
Should have Basic knowledge on Incident management and service request handling. Should be able to resolve the issues independently.
Good technical communication and presentation skills.
Ability to adopt and learn quickly
Networking concepts DNS DHCP TCP/IP Subnet IPv4/IPv6
Basic debugging skills
Good communication skills
Desired Skills and Qualifications
Overall min 4 years of experience in Information Technology (IT) and min. 2-3 years of relevant experience in Microsoft Endpoint Manager and/or Intune.
Knowledge on Workspace One Intune
Knowledge on ticketing tools like SNOW/Remedy/DXCSM
Basic knowledge on Cloud MS Azure O365 Licensing
Nice to have skills:
Experience in Microsoft Defender Azure Intune and MDM.
Experience in iOS Android and Windows application signing provisioning
Good communication skills with ability to represent in global meeting/forums/customers.
Good understanding of network infrastructure.
Knowledge of Cloud Technologies.
Excellent problem solving/analytical skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Must be able to multi-task change direction set priorities and meet deadline
