We are seeking a motivated enthusiastic and experienced Year 3 Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive primary school in Woking starting as soon as possible. The Role
As a Year 3 Teacher you will plan deliver and assess lessons across all areas of the curriculum. You will foster independence resilience and positive learning behaviours while supporting pupils academically socially and emotionally. You will also ensure a smooth progression from Key Stage 1 into Key Stage 2 helping pupils adapt to the curriculum and develop the skills needed for Upper Key Stage 2.
You will work collaboratively with teaching assistants and colleagues to provide differentiated support for all pupils including those with SEND and EAL. Maintaining accurate records observing pupil progress and communicating effectively with parents and carers are essential aspects of the role.
Key Responsibilities
Plan deliver and assess high-quality lessons across the Year 3 curriculum
Track and monitor pupil progress adapting teaching as required
Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all pupils including SEND and EAL learners
Promote independence resilience and positive learning behaviours
Maintain a structured inclusive and positive classroom environment
Collaborate effectively with teaching assistants and KS2 colleagues
Communicate regularly with parents and carers regarding pupil progress
Contribute to staff meetings CPD and whole-school initiatives
Support extracurricular activities and enrichment opportunities
Ensure safeguarding policies and procedures are followed at all times
Who Were Looking For
The ideal candidate will:
Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Have experience teaching Lower Key Stage 2 ideally Year 3
Be confident delivering literacy numeracy and foundation subjects
Demonstrate excellent classroom management and organisational skills
Be reflective proactive and adaptable
Show a strong commitment to inclusion safeguarding and pupil wellbeing
Work collaboratively as part of a supportive team
