A well-regarded secondary school in Hertfordshire is seeking an enthusiastic English Early Career Teacher (ECT) to join its successful and supportive English department.
Job Overview
Our client is looking to appoint an English ECT to start as soon as possible / April 2026. This Ofsted Good/Outstanding school is known for its strong academic outcomes excellent behaviour and structured support for early career teachers.
The successful English ECT will teach across KS3 to KS5 delivering engaging lessons that foster a love of literature language and critical thinking.

English ECT Experience and Qualifications
Degree in English or a related subject
QTS (ECTs welcome)
Strong subject knowledge across KS3KS5
Legal right to work in the UK
Good communication and organisational skills
Commitment to inclusive and high-quality English teaching
