We are seeking a caring enthusiastic and dedicated Reception Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Bracknell starting as soon as possible. The Role
As a Reception Teaching Assistant you will support the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons and activities across all areas of the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum. You will help children develop key skills in communication literacy numeracy and social development both in the classroom and outdoor learning spaces.
You will assist with observations assessment and recording of pupils progress and provide targeted support for children who require additional guidance. Strong collaboration with teaching staff colleagues and parents is essential to ensure children receive consistent support.
Key Responsibilities
Support learning activities and structured play across the EYFS curriculum
Assist with observations and assessments of pupil progress
Help maintain a safe engaging and stimulating learning environment
Support childrens social emotional and personal development
Encourage independence confidence and positive behaviour
Work collaboratively with teachers and Early Years staff
Communicate effectively with colleagues and parents
Contribute to planning CPD and whole-school initiatives
