We are seeking an enthusiastic experienced and dedicated KS1 Teacher to join a supportive and inclusive primary school in Wolverhampton starting as soon as possible. This is an exciting opportunity for a teacher who is passionate about Key Stage 1 and committed to providing high-quality lessons that support pupils academic social and emotional development.

As a KS1 Teacher you will plan deliver and assess lessons across the Key Stage 1 curriculum. You will foster positive learning behaviours build pupils confidence and independence and ensure every child receives the support they need to thrive. Collaboration with teaching assistants colleagues and parents is central to maintaining consistency and high standards.
Key Responsibilities
Plan deliver and assess engaging lessons across the KS1 curriculum
Deliver high-quality literacy numeracy and foundation subject teaching
Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all pupils including SEND and EAL
Promote independence resilience and positive behaviour
Maintain a structured inclusive and stimulating classroom environment
Track pupil progress and maintain accurate assessment records
Work collaboratively with teaching assistants colleagues and senior leaders
Communicate effectively with parents and carers regarding pupil progress
Contribute to staff meetings CPD sessions and whole-school initiatives
Support enrichment activities school events and extra-curricular opportunities
Ensure safeguarding and child protection procedures are strictly followed
The Ideal Candidate
The successful candidate will:
Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Have experience teaching Key Stage 1
Demonstrate excellent classroom management and organisational skills
Be reflective proactive and adaptable
Show a strong commitment to inclusion safeguarding and pupil wellbeing
Work collaboratively as part of a professional supportive team
