Job Description: SDET 1

Responsibilities:

• Assist in creating and executing test plans test cases scenarios and test data for new and existing features.

• Contribute to ensuring the quality of web-based e-commerce applications through functional and regression testing.

• Log defects create QA reports and track issues based on test cycle outcomes.

• Work closely with developers and senior QA members to validate fixes and participate in release testing.

• Provide timely feedback to developers and product managers based on testing observations.

• Perform front-end testing of web applications across browsers and devices.

• Write basic SQL/NoSQL queries for data validation and support database testing activities.

• Exposure to AI-assisted testing tools is a plus and willingness to learn such tools is expected.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors/Masters Degree in Computer Science or related field

• 1.5-2 Years of Experience in QA/SDET

• Hands-on experience or working knowledge of web-based testing frameworks (e.g. Cypress JS).

• Experience using project tracking tools such as JIRA.

• Basic understanding of version control systems like Git is a plus.

• Good understanding of manual testing concepts and basic QA process metrics.

• Strong attention to detail with the ability to understand requirements and user flows.

• Basic working knowledge of SQL and/or NoSQL databases.

• Exposure to AI-based testing tools (e.g. Testim) is an added advantage.

• Interest in workflow automation tools (e.g. n8n Lindy) and willingness to explore automation is a plus.
