Job Summary
Job Summary
- Palletize outbound shipments for UPS in a warehouse environment.
- Use a manual pallet jack to move pallets and boxes.
- Independently work within the customers environment maintaining professionalism and strong customer service.
- Perform standard lifting of packages up to 50 lbs; occasionally handle items up to 75 lbs and move wheeled objects up to 700 lbs.
- Follow specified dress code: black polo with black or khaki pants.
- Temporary-to-permanent position (Temp to Engage).
- Work shift: 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM.
- No driving required for the position.
- Participate in both virtual and in-person interviews.
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment as needed.
- Perform diversified warehouse tasks and assignments.
- Handle frequent stooping bending squatting and kneeling to service equipment at floor level.
- Work in conditions involving exposure to minor cuts burns chemical solvents and cleaners.
- Maintain basic computer knowledge for warehouse operations.
- Work in a typical warehouse setting with adequate lighting ventilation and normal temperature/noise levels.
