Senior Manufacturing Master Scheduler is responsible for developing maintaining and optimizing the master production schedule to ensure efficient use of resources on-time delivery and alignment with business objectives. This role serves as a critical link between sales engineering and operations (planning procurement and manufacturing) balancing customer demand with capacity inventory targets and operational addition this role will participate heavily in the ongoing ERP/MRP deployment initiative inside ProEnergy.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the Master Production Schedule (MPS) to support customer demand forecast accuracy and inventory objectives for both the OEM New Make and Services Overhaul product lines inside ProEnergy.
- Translate sales forecasts customer orders and strategic plans into executable production and procurement schedules
- Co-Lead the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process with the commercial team and build inputs related to demand & supply planning
- Drive ERP/MRP system deployment and future integrity data accuracy and planning parameter governance
- Analyze capacity material availability and labor constraints; proactively identify risks and propose mitigation plans
- Coordinate closely with manufacturing procurement engineering quality and logistics teams to ensure schedule feasibility
- Optimize inventory levels by balancing service levels production efficiency and working capital goals
- Monitor and adjust schedules in response to changes in demand supply disruptions or operational issues
- Establish and track KPIs such as schedule adherence on-time delivery inventory turns and forecast accuracy
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives in planning processes tools and systems
- Mentor and provide guidance to schedulers or planners; act as a subject matter expert for scheduling best practices
- Participate in new product introductions phase-ins/phase-outs and long-range capacity planning
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management Operations Industrial Engineering Business or a related field
- 7 years of experience in production planning scheduling or supply chain roles within a complex Make-to-order manufacturing environment
- Strong experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP
- Advanced proficiency in data analysis and planning tools (Excel planning software BI tools)
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex schedules in a dynamic fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Excellent cross-functional communication and stakeholder management skills
Preferred Qualifications
- APICS/ASCM certifications (CPIM CSCP)
- Experience in discrete product manufacturing finite scheduling and associated tools
- Background in Lean Manufacturing Six Sigma or continuous improvement methodologies
- Experience mentoring or leading planning teams
