Role: Senior-level SAP Integration Suite Architect

Location: Houston TX- Onsite

We are seeking a senior-level SAP Integration Suite Architect to lead the design implementation and modernization of our enterprise integration landscape replacing Dell Boomi with SAP Integration Suite (BTP). This role will define the future-state integration architecture establish standards and best practices and drive seamless connectivity across SAP and non-SAP platforms including ERP cloud SaaS and legacy systems.

The ideal candidate combines strong SAP BTP integration expertise with hands-on delivery experience and the ability to lead cross-functional teams through a platform transition.

Key Responsibilities
Architect and implement SAP Integration Suite (Cloud Integration API Management Event Mesh Open Connectors) as the strategic replacement for Dell Boomi
Design scalable secure and reusable integration frameworks across SAP (S/4HANA SuccessFactors Ariba etc.) and non-SAP systems ( AWS third-party SaaS)
Lead migration of existing Boomi interfaces and workflows into SAP Integration Suite with minimal business disruption
Establish enterprise integration standards patterns governance and best practices
Develop APIs iFlows message mappings and event-driven integrations
Collaborate with functional cloud and application teams to translate business requirements into technical integration solutions
Ensure high availability monitoring logging and performance optimization of integrations
Provide technical leadership mentoring and architectural guidance to developers and offshore/onshore teams
Support DevOps CI/CD pipelines and automated testing for integration deployments
Partner with security and infrastructure teams on authentication authorization and compliance requirements

Required Qualifications
8 years of enterprise integration experience
3 years of hands-on SAP Integration Suite / SAP BTP integration experience
Prior experience designing or migrating from Dell Boomi or similar iPaaS platforms (MuleSoft Informatica etc.)
Strong knowledge of REST SOAP OData APIs IDoc RFC SFTP and event-based integrations
Experience integrating SAP S/4HANA and other SAP cloud solutions
Proficiency with Groovy/JavaScript scripting and message transformations (XML/JSON/XSLT)
Solid understanding of cloud architectures (AWS/Azure) and hybrid environments
Experience with monitoring troubleshooting and performance tuning

Preferred Qualifications
SAP BTP or Integration Suite certifications
Experience in Energy Utilities or large enterprise environments
Knowledge of API strategy governance and microservices architecture
Familiarity with ServiceNow Salesforce and integrations
Experience leading global or offshore delivery teams
