Position : SAP Enterprise Architect SAP S/4HANA

Type of Hire : Contract
Duration: 6 months potential for extension
Location: Houston TX (No Remote) In-Office Expectation: 4 days in-office 1 day remote

Proven experience delivering end-to-end SAP S/4HANA implementations.
Experience supporting Managed Services and large enterprise SAP landscapes.
Strong knowledge of utility industry processes (asset management billing customer service regulatory reporting).
Excellent communication leadership and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred: SAP Certified Technology Professional System Security Architect (or equivalent)
Preferred: SAP S/4HANA Architecture and/or SAP Utilities certifications
Define maintain and govern SAP S/4HANA enterprise architecture for utility operations.
Develop and manage multi-year SAP roadmaps aligned with business and EA standards.
Lead end-to-end solution architecture design across SAP S/4HANA landscapes.
Provide architectural leadership across SAP modules including FI/CO MM SD PM/EAM and SAP IS-U / S/4HANA Utilities.
Guide ECC to S/4HANA transformation strategies (greenfield brownfield hybrid).
Drive modernization initiatives leveraging SAP BTP cloud and hybrid architectures.
Establish and enforce architecture standards governance models and best practices.
Ensure compliance with security data privacy and regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with business IT cybersecurity and risk teams to ensure solution integrity and resilience. Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on SAP strategy and architectural decisions. Oversee SAP vendors and Managed Services partners ensuring adherence to standards and SLAs.

We are seeking a highly experienced SAP Enterprise Architect with 10 years of SAP experience to support the Enterprise Architecture team within the Utilities domain (Electric Gas and/or Water). This role is responsible for defining governing and evolving the enterprise-wide SAP S/4HANA architecture ensuring alignment with business strategy regulatory requirements and long-term digital transformation objectives. The ideal candidate will have end-to-end SAP S/4HANA implementation experience exposure to Managed Services environments and a strong understanding of utility industry processes.
