Job Title: Occupational Health Nurse III
Location: Durham NC
Duration: 6 Months

Note: This role is based out of Durham however involves travel to multiple facilities within the North Carolina region. Shortlisting top candidates on 9/26. 5-20 hours per week. Location: Day shifts available M-F with occasional off-shift hours. Must-Have Skills:
- Registered Nurse (RN) with active state license
- Occupational health or clinical nursing experience
- Case management for work-related injuries and illnesses
- Knowledge of OSHA or equivalent occupational health regulations
- Strong verbal written and interpersonal communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook Excel PowerPoint and EMR systems
- CPR certification
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Certified Occupational Health Nurse (COHN or COHN-S)
- ER ICU or Med/Surg nursing experience
- Experience in manufacturing or corporate health settings
- Health promotion and wellness program engagement
Key Responsibilities & Duties:
- Provide nursing assessments treatment and recommendations for employee illness and injury within RN scope of practice
- Document and maintain medical records in compliance with OSHA and privacy regulations
- Support emergency response programs and medical preparedness initiatives
- Manage disability workers compensation FMLA and absence management processes
- Coordinate early and safe return-to-work programs and workplace accommodations
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Minimum 5 years of Registered Nurse experience (occupational health preferred)
- Active and current state RN license
- Current CPR certification
- Strong computer skills and ability to maintain electronic medical records
