Growing Per Diem Pool for RN Emergency Room Start Date: 1/17/26. Must have EPIC Knowledge. Candidates must be available weekends. Preference given to candidates available for a full schedule through the end of January and the first week of February. Minimum compliance requirements must be met prior to starting; full compliance profile must be completed within two weeks after the start date. Non-negotiable compliance items should be: License verification. BLS/ACLS/PALS/NRP as required. MMR and Varicella vaccination record or attest to being vaccinated or decline vaccination. Negative TB results. Drug screen and background screen should be provided shortly after the start of the clinicians shift. 1. Current and valid state RN License. 2. BLS 3. ACLS 4. PALS 5. NIHSS or Stroke Certification preferred 6. COVID vaccination/boosters preferred 7. BVP (MAB) training The Registered Nurse is responsible for the delivery of safe patient care utilizing the nursing process of assessment planning implementation and evaluation. Provides direct patient care within the scope of practice. The Registered Nurse also directs and guides patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing personnel while maintaining standards of professional nursing care in Telemetry. The Registered Nurse is directly responsible and accountable for the care given to his/her patients in the Emergency Department. He / She communicates with the physician about the changes in the patient s clinical condition including results of the diagnostic studies and symptomatology. Is capable of responding quickly and accurately to changes in the condition and/or response to treatment. Is knowledgeable about EMTALA regulations and reporting of child/adult abuse to appropriate agencies and Hospital Social Worker. Maintains patient privacy and confidentiality.
