Registered Nurse Cath Lab / Interventional Radiology

About the Opportunity
A high-volume acute care hospital in Southern California is seeking an experienced Cath Lab RN or Interventional Radiology RN to support diagnostic and interventional procedures in a fast-paced collaborative environment.
This role is ideal for a skilled procedural nurse with strong clinical judgment patient monitoring expertise and experience in cardiac or interventional radiology settings.
Position Summary
The Cath Lab RN / IR RN provides direct patient care and clinical support during cardiac catheterization and interventional radiology procedures ensuring patient safety procedural efficiency and high-quality outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Provide nursing care before during and after Cath Lab or IR procedures
Assist physicians with diagnostic and interventional procedures
Monitor hemodynamic status and patient condition throughout procedures
Ensure accurate and timely documentation in EPIC
Follow clinical protocols safety standards and infection control guidelines
Participate in on-call rotation as required
Support patient education and post-procedure recovery
Required Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab or IR experience in a 250 bed hospital
Cath Lab RN or IR RN experience accepted
IR RN candidates must have Neuro and Vascular experience
EPIC experience required for IR RN (hard requirement)
EPIC preferred for Cath Lab RN
Active RN license
ACLS BLS and CCI certifications required
Scrub experience preferred but not required
Compensation and Role Details
Base Salary: $100000 to $164000
