Job Summary

RN Cardiovascular Care Unit (CVU) Nights
Location: Chico California United States
Schedule: 12-hour night shifts starting at 19:00 including holiday coverage; may float to Med/Surg as needed
Assignment Length: 13 weeks

Responsibilities:

Provide pre-operative post-operative and ongoing care for cardiovascular patients including cardiac surgery and telemetry monitoring
Manage complex patient cases including arrhythmias CHF MI and post-procedure recovery
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient-centered care
Accurately document patient care using EPIC EMR
Float to other units including Med/Surg as needed
Adhere to hospital policies procedures and standards of care
Participate in holiday and weekend coverage as required

Requirements:

Active California RN license in good standing
Current BLS and ACLS certifications
Minimum 2 years of critical care experience
Experience with EPIC charting
Strong critical thinking clinical judgment and communication skills
Ability to adapt to unit needs and floating requirements

Compensation and Benefits:

Base salary: $100000 to $120000 per year
Full-time no additional benefits provided
No travel required beyond floating
