Job Summary

Sr. UI Engineer
Location: Austin TX (onsite)
Contract: 12 months C2C

Visa Type: GC/USC No H1B

We are seeking a Senior UI Developer / Senior Front-End Developer with strong hands-on experience in JavaScript TypeScript Gatsby HTML CSS and NPM to design and develop high-performance scalable enterprise user interfaces.
The ideal candidate must hold a Masters degree in Computer Science (mandatory) and be comfortable working in a fast-paced enterprise environment.

Responsibilities

Transform design concepts into fully functional web applications.
Rapidly prototype UI ideas and iterate based on feedback.
Develop optimize and maintain complex JavaScript/TypeScript code.
Build and enhance reusable Web Components and UI standards (StencilJS Angular ).
Integrate front end code with backend web services (JSON/JSONP/AJAX).
Identify and fix JavaScript/CSS defects and optimize performance.
Collaborate closely with design and product teams to deliver excellent usability and user experience.

Required Qualifications

Masters degree in Computer Science.
10 years of web development experience including 8 years as a UI/Front end Developer/Engineer.
Expert level JavaScript and TypeScript skills.
Strong hands on experience with:
- Angular 8
- StencilJS and Web Components
- HTML/HTML5 and CSS/CSS3
Experience with web services JSON JSONP AJAX and cross browser development.
Experience with JavaScript testing and end to end web application development.
Strong focus on detail and visual quality (pixel perfect implementation).
Ability to work independently take ownership and deliver high quality solutions quickly.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
