Job Summary
Job Summary for Interventional Radiology (IR) RN
- Work Schedule: 4 days per week 10-hour shifts (7:30 am 6:00 pm) Monday through Friday
- Rotating day off each week
- Participate in weekday and weekend call rotation
- Call frequency: Approximately every 10th weekend
- Weeknight call: About 2 nights every 6 weeks
- Provide nursing care to patients undergoing interventional radiology procedures
- Collaborate with physicians technologists and other healthcare providers
- Monitor patient status before during and after procedures
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Ensure compliance with safety and infection control protocols
