Job Summary
Job Summary (MedSurg RN - Oncology Floor):
- Position: Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) - Oncology Floor
- Assignment Length: 13 weeks with possible extension
- Start Date: 3 weeks from offer
- Schedule: Every other weekend (EOW) required; block scheduling considered
- Time Off: Minimal to no requested time off (RTO); must be disclosed on submission
- Patient Ratio: 1:6 or 1:7; must have experience managing higher patient ratios
- Required Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support)
- Required Skills: Telemetry IV start
- Preferred Experience:
- Oncology nursing experience highly preferred
- Minimum one year of recent MedSurg experience required
- Previous travel nursing experience preferred
- Electronic Medical Records: Experience with Cerner and Soarian EMR systems
- Dress Code: Royal blue scrubs required (not provided by facility)
- Local Rate: $5/hour less than posted bill rate for candidates living 31-50 miles from facility; candidates within 30 miles are not eligible
