Job Summary

Banking/Finance Domain - Preferred

Local & Onsite - Must

Role: IBM Sterling System Engineer

Location: Toronto ON Onsite

6-12 months Contract

Key Responsibilities:
Create and update Trading Partners routing rules service configurations adapters and busine process
Support deployment activities such as code changes maps BP updates etc.
Monitor sterling file transfer flows queues BP execution system health and availability.
Perform root cause analysis and resolve incidents within SLA timelines.
Handle escalated incidents
Manage encryption and security configurations (PGP SSL SSH etc).
Provide Level 2 support for IBM Sterling File Gateway and related MFT components.
Support production environments on a rotational 24/7 on-call basis.
Collaborate with infrastructure application and security teams to ensure seamless operations.
Maintain technical documentation and operational procedures.
Participate in change management processes using ServiceNow.

Required Skills & Experience:
Working Experience in IBM SFG B2B integrator CCM SSP-CM SEAS.
Strong knowledge of file transfer protocols: FTP SFTP FTPS HTTPS AS2.
Proficiency in Unix/Linux environments and shell scripting.
Experience with dynatrace for monitoring and log analysis.
Exposure to container platforms (e.g. OpenShift) is a plus.
Experience with DevSecOps tools like GitHub and YAML formatting.
