Level III Trauma Center Primary Stroke Center Traveler Experience: First time travelers accepted Locals accepted (Y/N): No must be >50 miles Skills: General Emergency Department-Combined Adult/Pedi Non Trauma Emergency Department Interpretation of dysrhythmias Management of dysrhythmias Management of patient with multisystem organ dysfunction/failure Blood Product Administration Central line care/management Phlebotomy Starting IVs Continuous IV sedation IV vasopressors CVA Neuro-Trauma Spinal cord injury Traumatic Brain injury Ortho-Trauma Abdominal pain Asthma Burns Epiglottitis Head injury Hyperglycemia Identifying and reporting abuse Infections Mental/behavioral health conditions Respiratory infections Seizures Spinal cord injury Urinary tract infections Ventilated patients Gunshot wounds Traumatic amputation Certs: ACLS BLS NIHSS PALS TNCC PREFERRED SKILLS / CERTS / EXP: CPI TCAR JOB DETAILS: Weekend Requirement: Every other - 2 weekends of a 4 week posted schedule Patient Ratio Experience Required: 1:5 UNIT SYSTEMS (Medication Documentation Communication): EPIC Pyxis SBAR UNIT ORIENTATION: 24 hours
