Job Summary
SAP Advanced Business Application Programming (ABAP) for non-HANA
Strong experience in SAP ABAP programming (Reports Interfaces Conversions Enhancements Forms).
Expertise in Object-Oriented ABAP (OOABAP).
Hands-on experience with ABAP Workbench tools (SE80 SE38 SE11 etc.).
Knowledge of Enhancement Framework (User Exits BADIs Enhancement Points).
Experience in SmartForms SAPscript Adobe Forms.
Familiarity with RFC BAPI IDoc and Web Services.
Understanding of Performance Tuning and Debugging.
Exposure to SAP Fiori/UI5 integration and OData services.
Knowledge of SAP HANA and CDS Views.
Experience with SAP upgrade and migration projects.
Roles & Responsibilities
Develop and maintain custom ABAP programs based on business requirements.
Implement enhancements and modifications using SAP standard frameworks.
Create and manage interfaces between SAP and external systems.
Design and develop SmartForms SAPscript and Adobe forms.
Perform code optimization and performance tuning.
Collaborate with functional consultants for requirement gathering and testing.
Support SAP upgrades and system migrations from an ABAP perspective.
Prepare technical documentation and ensure compliance with coding standards.
Provide production support and issue resolution for ABAP-related problems.
Generic Managerial Skills If any
Ability to lead ABAP development teams and manage deliverables.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Project planning and estimation for development tasks.
Capability to mentor junior ABAP developers.
