Key Responsibilities:
Extract analyze and report on operational data from SAP (focus on Extended Warehouse Management module).
Develop and maintain standard operating reports (e.g. order status work-in-process backlog dock-to-stock metrics).
Transition reporting duties from current person to new processes and documentation.
Collaborate with operations leaders to refine reporting requirements and metrics.
Use Excel and Power BI for data manipulation and visualization as needed.
Ensure reports meet customer requirements and are delivered consistently.
Requirements:
Proficiency in SAP (especially EWM) Excel and Power BI.
Strong analytical skills and curiosity to understand (logistics/shipping) operational terminology (e.g. RMAS DNS).
Ability to work on-site in Union City CA for initial weeks; possible flexibility after onboarding if not local.
Experience in operations planning or data analytics preferred; not entry-level but not senior executive.
No logistics background required but must be willing to learn operational concepts.
Contract Details:
Initial contract duration: 6-8 weeks with potential for full-time hire Salary range to be determined; conversion to full-time possible. Must pass both company and client background checks for SAP access.

Specific Reporting Metrics Discussed Orders Status: Reports on the status of orders and work in process were mentioned as needed metrics.
Backlogs: Tracking and reporting on backlogs from SAP was identified as a requirement.
