Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Physical Therapist to provide high-quality rehabilitative care across inpatient and outpatient settings. The ideal candidate will evaluate plan and implement therapeutic interventions to improve patient mobility strength and functional independence. This role requires strong clinical judgment effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
Responsibilities:

Perform comprehensive physical therapy evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.

Deliver therapeutic interventions that align with established goals and physician directives.

Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.

Maintain accurate timely documentation in accordance with facility and regulatory standards.

Educate patients and families on exercises safety and functional mobility techniques.

Collaborate with healthcare team members to support coordinated patient care.
Requirements:

Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program (Diploma B.S. or M.S. required).
-
Active Physical Therapist license in the state of Maine or license-eligible.
-
Current CPR/BLS certification.
-
Valid Maine drivers license.
-
Prior patient care experience preferred.
Assignment Details:
-
13-week contract.
-
Schedule: 4x10-hour shifts Monday Friday.
-
Rehabilitation Settings: Inpatient and Outpatient.
-
EMR System: CPSI/Evident.
-
Minimum Experience: 1 year.
-
Facility may cancel up to 3 shifts within 12 weeks.
