Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Medical/Surgical (Night Shift)
Job Type: Contract
Position Urgency: Quick Start
Shift: Nights (7:00 PM 7:30 AM)
Schedule: Three 12-hour shifts per week (36 hours guaranteed)
Duration: 13-week assignment

The Registered Nurse (RN) Medical/Surgical provides high-quality patient care in an acute care setting during night shifts. This role requires strong clinical judgment the ability to manage multiple patient needs and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe effective and compassionate care.

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to adult medical-surgical patients

• Perform patient assessments administer medications and monitor patient progress

• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care plans

• Accurately document care and patient outcomes using an electronic medical record system

• Ensure compliance with patient safety standards infection control and hospital protocols

Licensure:

• Active California RN license required

Certifications:

• BLS required

• ACLS required

Experience:

• Minimum of 3 years of recent Medical/Surgical RN experience required

Additional Requirements:

• Proof of negative TB screening within the past 12 months

• Willingness and availability to work night shifts

• Holiday coverage required

• Housing resources may be available upon request

• EMR system used: CPSI/Evident
