Job description:
What You Will Do:
Once properly trained and/or certified perform specific tasks including but not limited to soldering hardware installation post coating.
Under close supervision inspects own work performed to ensure a quality product which conforms to workmanship standards engineering requirements and design specifications.
Perform in accordance with productivity expectations to meet customer deadlines.
Comply with all rules and regulations of Raytheon Technologies including but not limited to: Environmental Health and Safety Ethics and Compliance Quality and attendance requirements.
Participate in cost reduction plans and continuous improvement plans/events as required.
Participate in audits.
Acquire applicable skill/knowledge/certifications and complete trainings as required.
Maintain materials equipment and work area in a clean and orderly condition.
Report to lead or supervisor on work progress and updates.
Complete assigned tasks not specifically listed within the scope and skill level of this job description in support of department objectives and to develop individual skills.
Must be able to pass a soldering assessment after training course provided.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications You Must Have:
Typically requires HS Diploma (or equivalent e.g. G.E.D. in the US) or vocational/technical education in related discipline.
U.S. Person (U.S. citizen permanent resident refugee or asylee) or eligible to obtain necessary export authorizations required.
Qualifications We Prefer:
Career Readiness Certification (CRC) strongly preferred.
The ability to interpret schematics and/or technical drawings
The ability to successfully complete training modules associated with job grade.
The ability to follow assembly instruction.
The ability to effectively work in an environment requiring repetitive job responsibilities.
The ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
The ability to understand end uses of products being built.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Attention to detail in order to ensure safety and quality.
Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task.
The ability to work in a team to support work capacity in a fast-paced environment.
Intermediate computer skills in terms of typing navigating screens and learning new software programs.
Demonstrated analytical skills and problem-solving abilities.
The ability to take direction from more experienced coworkers leads and supervisors.
May be standing for 8 hours.

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees as they are essential to the development of our products.
Hours: This position is on 2nd shift (3:30PM-1:00AM). It operates on a 9/80 schedule as well. Candidate must be able to train on 1st shift.

WILL WORK THE FOLLOWING SCHEDULE:
-all training will be 1st shift (6am-3:30pm) - there may also be OJT training after the initial 2weeks that would be on a shift other than their hiring shift. could be 1-3 weeks on first or second shift in order to get the OJT training. Need folks with flexibility.
1st shift - $18.32 pay rate
2nd shift - $19.43 pay rate **********work rule could be 9/80 or 4 tens**********
Weekend - $20.48 pay rate
**Interviews will be held EVERY MONDAY from 9am-5pm EST in 2 hour blocks. Candidate could be there the entire 2 hours
