Job Summary

Job Summary (RN Med/Surg Nights Salida CO):

- Provide direct acute care and swing bed patient care as a collaborative team member.
- Evaluate patient health status by collecting and assessing health data.
- Deliver health education and counseling to patients and families.
- Administer supportive and restorative therapy/treatment directly or via consultation delegation supervision or teaching.
- Carry out delegated medical functions as part of the care team.
- Review monitor and update therapy and treatment plans.
- Accurately document all assessments interventions teaching and care coordination in medical records in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with ancillary departments and physicians to address medical social and spiritual needs of patients in a culturally and age-appropriate manner.
- Work night shifts (6P 6A) three shifts per week (36 hours) with every other weekend required.
- No mandatory overtime; overtime is allowed.
- Requires active Colorado RN license current BLS certification; ACLS and PALS preferred.
- Minimum of Associates Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited program; BSN preferred.
