Position Overview
A respected nonprofit healthcare organization in western Montana is seeking Registered Nurses specializing in Labor & Delivery to join its acute care team. This organization operates a broad network of hospitals clinics and community health services across several states and is known for delivering compassionate patient-centered care.
In this role you will provide specialized nursing care to mothers and newborns throughout the labor delivery and immediate postpartum stages. Nurses in this department work collaboratively with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe and effective care while supporting patients and families during one of lifes most important moments.

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients during labor delivery and postpartum recovery.
- Monitor maternal and fetal health recognizing and responding to changes in patient condition.
- Collaborate with obstetricians pediatric providers and other healthcare professionals.
- Educate patients and families on childbirth newborn care and recovery.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and follow established care protocols.
- Support a patient-focused culture that prioritizes safety dignity and respect.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Active Registered Nurse license in the state of Montana (required at time of hire).
- BLS Certification from the American Heart Association (required upon hire).
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification within 90 days of hire.
- At least 1 year of nursing experience.
