Overview

We are seeking a Java Architect to join our team. This role will involve defining and governing end-to-end architecture for enterprise-grade Java applications with a strong focus on API-led integration and microservices architecture. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Java API design cloud-native systems and enterprise integrations along with a passion for building scalable secure and resilient platforms.

Note: This position is strictly for Architect-level profiles only with 10 18 years of experience.

The Java Architect is responsible for designing and owning the end-to-end architecture of Java-based enterprise applications. The Java Architect will lead API-led integration strategies ensuring secure scalable and reusable service this role the Java Architect will define architectural standards guide development teams and ensure compliance with best practices across microservices cloud and DevOps ecosystems. Acting as a technical authority the Java Architect will collaborate closely with business and engineering stakeholders to translate complex requirements into robust technical solutions. The Java Architect also serves as a mentor and thought leader driving architectural excellence across teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Define and own end-to-end architecture for Java-based applications with strong emphasis on API-led integration.
Design govern and document RESTful APIs (and GraphQL where applicable) using OpenAPI/Swagger standards.
Establish best practices for API security versioning throttling monitoring and lifecycle management.
Architect and review microservices-based systems using Spring Boot and Spring Cloud.
Lead integration with internal systems external platforms third-party services and partner APIs.
Guide teams on scalability resiliency performance optimization and fault tolerance.
Collaborate with DevOps teams on CI/CD pipelines containerization and cloud-native deployments.
Review architecture designs codebases and integration patterns to ensure compliance with standards.
Mentor senior developers and technical leads acting as a technical thought leader.
Partner with business stakeholders to translate functional requirements into technical architecture solutions.

Required Skills & Experience:

Overall Architecture Experience: 10 18 years of experience in enterprise application architecture (Architect-level only).
Java & Enterprise Development: 10 years of experience with Java/J2EE technologies.
API Architecture & Integration: 8 years of experience designing and governing RESTful APIs and enterprise integrations.
Microservices Architecture: 8 years of experience with Spring Boot Spring Cloud and distributed systems.
Cloud & DevOps Enablement: 7 years of experience supporting cloud deployments CI/CD pipelines and container platforms.
Security & API Governance: 7 years of experience implementing API security authentication authorization and throttling.
Scalability & Resiliency: 8 years of experience designing high-availability fault-tolerant systems.
Leadership & Mentoring: 6 years of experience mentoring developers and leading technical architecture initiatives.
