We are looking for a skilled and performance-driven Web Designer with strong technical abilities and SEO knowledge to help craft a modern intuitive and conversion-optimized web presence for our Nextcloud ecosystem. Your work will play a vital role in shaping user journeys improving performance and presenting our technically advanced solutions in a clear and engaging way while upholding our mission and values.
Tasks
- Design visually compelling responsive website layouts and landing pages.
- Create UI/UX designs optimized for intuitive user journeys across all device types.
- Optimize site architecture content structure and technical elements for SEO.
- Monitor analyze and improve website performance (speed accessibility conversion).
- Implement design solutions compatible with Nextcloud templates theming and integrations.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest web design trends usability standards and SEO practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain visual consistency and brand identity.
- Provide graphics icons and assets for UI elements and web components.
Requirements
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Web Design Digital Media Computer Science Marketing or a related field.
- 3-4 years of professional experience in Web Design UI/UX or a similar role
- Proven experience as a Web Designer or UI/UX Designer.
- Expertise in HTML5 CSS3 JavaScript and responsive design frameworks.
- Solid knowledge of SEO fundamentals technical SEO and on-page optimization.
- Experience in compliant privacy-centric behavioral analytics frameworks to derive actionable insights for optimized user journey design.
- Proficiency with design tools (Adobe).
- Strong sense of visual aesthetics typography and modern design trends.
- Performance-driven mindset with a passion for continuous improvement.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
