Job Summary
JOB DESCRIPTION
Role Responsibilities:
Application Development - Code test and support Java applications and services
using Core Java Spring Framework (Boot MVC) Hibernate/JPA and REST/SOAP APIs
working through the full SDLC
Defect Fixing & Debugging - Troubleshoot issues in development staging and
production environments using debugging tools; write unit tests with JUnit/TestNG
and support QA/testing efforts
Collaborative Work - Engage in sprint ceremonies (planning stand-ups
retrospectives) clarify requirements with product and stakeholders and collaborate
closely with DevOps and QA teams
Documentation & Knowledge Sharing - Create/update technical documentation
(design diagrams API specs) and share learnings internally to foster team
knowledge
Continuous Learning - Stay updated with evolving Java tech (e.g. Java 17 Spring
updates) and actively seek opportunities to improve code processes and
architectural approaches

Technical Skills:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related discipline
0-2 years of experience developing in Java technologies with equivalent experience
in systems analysis OO design OO programming and debugging skills
Solid understanding of Core Java OOP data structures collections and exception
handling Must Have
Practical experience with Spring (Boot MVC) and Hibernate/JPA Must Have
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related discipline
0-2 years of experience developing in Java technologies with equivalent experience

Knowledge on frontend stack (React/Angular/Vue) or fullstack integration Must
Have
eCommerce experience (Retail) Nice to Have
Basic understanding of CI/CD pipelines and containerization (Docker Kubernetes)
Nice to Have
Some cloud exposure (AWS Azure GCP) or scripting experience (Shell Python)
Nice to Have
Certifications such as Oracle
