Job Title: MDM Informatica SaaS Engineer

Location: Chennai

Work Type: Hybrid

Position Description:

As an MDM Informatica SaaS Engineer you will be responsible for the design development and implementation of Master Data Management (MDM) solutions using the Informatica IDMC platform.
Your primary goal is to create a Single Source of Truth by integrating disparate data sources enforcing data quality standards and managing the end-to-end lifecycle of master data domains (such as Customer Product Supplier or Employee).
You will work closely with data stewards architects and business stakeholders to ensure that high-quality governed data is available across the enterprise.
Willingness to support production MDM Saas as well as the datawarehouse that feeds MDM is key.
When capacity is available should be willing to perform the role of a GCP Data Engineer.
Training will be provided to perform the GCP Data Engineer role.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

Solution Design and Development
Architecture & Modeling: Design and implement scalable data models within Informatica Business 360 (SaaS).
Define entities attributes and relationships for various data domains.
Configuration: Configure the MDM SaaS environment including UI layouts searchable attributes and business entity services.
Matching & Merging: Develop and fine-tune complex match rules (exact and fuzzy logic) to identify duplicate records.
Define survivorship and trust rules to ensure the most accurate data is promoted to the Golden Record.
Data Integration and Orchestration
Inbound/Outbound Integration: Use Cloud Data Integration (CDI) and Cloud Application Integration (CAI) to build pipelines that ingest data from source systems and publish master data to downstream consumers.
API Management: Develop and manage REST APIs for real-time data lookups and updates between the MDM hub and operational applications.
Workflow Automation: Design and implement automated workflows for data stewardship tasks approvals and notifications.
Data Quality and Governance
Cleansing & Standardisation: Implement data quality rules using Informatica Cloud Data Quality (CDQ) to validate standardize and enrich data during the ingestion process.
Stewardship Support: Provide technical support to Data Stewards helping them resolve data exceptions manual merges and unmerges.
Compliance: Ensure data handling processes align with corporate governance policies and data privacy regulations (e.g. GDPR CCPA).
Maintenance and Optimization
Performance Tuning: Monitor and optimize the performance of batch jobs API calls and match/merge processes within the SaaS environment.
Troubleshooting: Act as the primary point of contact for technical issues related to the MDM SaaS platform working with Informatica support when necessary.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Technical Skills:

Platform Expertise: Proven experience with Informatica IDMC (SaaS) specifically Business 360 Customer 360 or Product 360.
Core Informatica Tools: Proficiency in Cloud Data Integration (CDI) Cloud Application Integration (CAI) and Cloud Data Quality (CDQ).
Data Modeling: Strong understanding of relational and dimensional data modeling concepts.
Languages & Protocols: Advanced SQL skills. Experience with JSON XML and REST/SOAP APIs.
Analytical Thinking: Ability to translate complex business requirements into technical MDM configurations.
Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills
Problem Solving: A proactive approach to identifying data anomalies and performance bottlenecks.

Experience Requirements:

3 years of experience in Master Data Management (MDM).
At least 1-2 years of hands-on experience specifically with Informatica MDM SaaS/IDMC.
Prior experience with Informatica On-Prem Multidomain MDM is a plus but must be supplemented by SaaS transition knowledge.

Skills Required:

Python Data Warehousing Big Query SQL AIRFLOW GCP MDM

Skills Preferred:

Analytical Problem Solving

Experience Required:

3 years of experience in Master Data Management (MDM).
At least 1-2 years of hands-on experience specifically with Informatica MDM SaaS/IDMC.
Prior experience with Informatica On-Prem Multidomain MDM is a plus but must be supplemented by SaaS transition knowledge.
Engineer II Exp.: Practitioner: 1 coding language or framework.
4 years in IT; 3 years in development

Experience Preferred:

Willingness to support production MDM Saas as well as the datawarehouse that feeds MDM is key.
When capacity is available should be willing to perform the role of a GCP Data Engineer.
Training will be provided to perform the GCP Data Engineer role.
