Tasks

Your Role

The Inbound Planner Specialist is responsible for managing and optimizing the procurement and inbound supply chain processes. This role ensures the timely and cost-effective acquisition of materials maintains optimal stock levels and fosters strong relationships with suppliers and internal departments to support business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Review Forecasts

  • Analyze demand forecasts to determine procurement needs and align supply with business requirements.
  • Collaborate with demand planning and sales teams to ensure forecast accuracy.

Management of Orders and Distribution

  • Manage purchase orders track shipments and coordinate inbound logistics.
  • Ensure timely and accurate delivery of materials to meet production schedules.

Supply Contracts

  • Draft review and manage supply contracts to ensure compliance and protect company interests.
  • Monitor contract performance and renewals.

Stock Rotation

  • Implement and monitor stock rotation practices to minimize obsolescence and waste.
  • Ensure inventory accuracy and optimal stock levels.

Standardization of Materials

  • Develop and enforce material standardization policies to streamline procurement and reduce costs.
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to align specifications.

Fluid Relationships with All Departments

  • Serve as a liaison between procurement production logistics and other departments to ensure seamless operations.
  • Facilitate cross-functional communication and problem-solving.

Complaint Management

  • Address and resolve supplier and internal complaints related to procurement quality or delivery issues.
  • Implement corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

About you

  • Hold a superior degree in business procurement supply chain management or a related field.
  • Fluent in both Spanish and English enabling effective communication with international suppliers and internal teams.
  • Experienced user of SAP and Microsoft Office Suite for procurement reporting and data analysis.
  • Strong negotiation skills with a proactive approach to identifying cost-saving opportunities and alternative suppliers.
  • Effective team player with excellent communication skills able to collaborate fluidly with all departments and stakeholders.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities maintain accurate records and ensure timely completion of tasks.
  • Strong analytical mindset capable of interpreting data optimizing stock levels and improving procurement processes.
