Job Summary:
The Senior Business Systems Analyst will be responsible for eliciting documenting and translating business requirements into system design artifacts for custom software development projects. This role requires extensive experience in business process analysis requirements elicitation and serving as a liaison between business stakeholders and development teams. The analyst will lead workshops create user stories and ensure alignment between business needs and technical solutions.
The Senior Business Systems Analyst will be responsible for eliciting documenting and translating business requirements into system design artifacts for custom software development projects. This role requires extensive experience in business process analysis requirements elicitation and serving as a liaison between business stakeholders and development teams. The analyst will lead workshops create user stories and ensure alignment between business needs and technical solutions.

Responsibilities:
- Engaging with subject matter experts to articulate business priorities and desired outcomes.
- Identifying and describing core business capabilities.
- Serving as the Lead Business Systems Analyst on complex public-facing custom software development projects.
- Acting as the liaison between business and the development team.
- Authoring specification documents user stories and setting GUI standards.
- Applying a range of requirement-elicitation strategies to gather and document comprehensive functional and non-functional business requirements.
- Working with reusable components and integrated systems.
- Adapting quickly to technical and business environments on pre-existing teams.
- Performing tasks in collaborative and autonomous modes within a team environment.
- Planning coordinating and leading workshops.
- Documenting and diagramming business processes and workflows.
- Creating Epics Features and Stories using Azure DevOps or a similar product.
- Translating elicited business requirements into clear system design artifacts (e.g. prototypes flow diagrams screen mock-ups).
- Analyzing requirements to identify underlying information needs procedural steps and decision flows for a web custom development solution.
- Leading analysis with UX design for desktop and mobile devices (i.e. responsive design).

- Bachelors degree in Business Administration Computer Science or equivalent related experience.
- Demonstrated experience in communication skills (written and oral) in English.
- 10 years of experience as a senior business systems analyst.
- 4 years of experience as the Lead Business Systems Analyst on complex public-facing custom software development projects.
- 5 years of experience as the liaison between business and the development team authoring specification documents user stories and setting GUI standards.
