Job Summary

POSITION	Data Governance Program Manager
LOCATION	Hybrid 4 days onsite M-Th in Austin TX
REQUIRED SKILLS	Heavy governance Data governance in MDM

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain data governance frameworks and Drive adoption of a data driven culture MDM best practices and processes
Be the operational lead of the data governance program
Coordinate the end-to-end management of data across MDM tool and interdependent systems (i.e. PLM SAP etc)
Ensure data compliance with regulatory requirements industry standards and organizational policies
Execute program roadmap and establish communication channels and cadences to ensure organizational strategy is adopted and track the status of initiatives.
Manage resourcing budget and timeline for data management initiatives and lead reporting to necessary teams
Manage cross-functional teams to implement tool enhancements process improvements backlog reduction and issue resolution
Evergreen Updates of DG process and policies to reflect enhancements and changes
Monitor industry trends best practices and emerging technologies in data management and governance to recommend improvements.
Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies.
Determine proper change management strategies to promote new strategic changes.

Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Information Technology Data Management Business Administration or a related field; Masters degree preferred
Minimum 5 years of experience in data management data governance or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience working in a field with compliance and regulatory data issues (i.e. financial institutions)
Minimum 5 years of experience in program management leading large scale digital transformations
Excellent communication stakeholder alignment and project management skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong understanding of data management principles governance frameworks and industry regulations (e.g. GDPR HIPAA PCI-DSS)
Certification in data management or governance (e.g. CDMP CDG) is a plus
Experience in retail is a plus
