Job Summary

Senior Cloud Security Engineer

Onsite : Denver Colorado

We are seeking a Senior Cloud Security Architect to lead the design of secure cloud architectures and drive DevSecOps practices across the organization. This role partners with engineering teams to define security standards automate controls and support secure cloud operations at scale.

Key Responsibilities

Architect secure AWS (and/or GCP) cloud environments including landing zones and reference architectures
Define and enforce cloud security policies standards and governance
Design IAM least-privilege access MFA and SSO solutions
Implement encryption KMS and data protection strategies
Drive DevSecOps adoption across the SDLC and CI/CD pipelines
Integrate security monitoring (SIEM CSPM) and incident response automation
Lead risk assessments threat modeling and security reviews
Mentor engineers and collaborate with DevOps Engineering and business teams

Required Experience

5 years in cloud or security architecture
Hands-on experience with AWS and/or GCP
Strong Linux background with Bash and/or Python scripting
Experience with CI/CD Git-based source control and automation
Deep understanding of cloud security best practices and SDLC

Nice to Have

Kubernetes (EKS/GKE) and container security experience
Agile development experience
Familiarity with tools such as Jenkins Jira Confluence Docker GitHub
Experience with relational or NoSQL databases
