About the Role

We are seeking a Hardware & Software Validation Engineer to join our team in the heavy truck manufacturing industry. This role ensures the reliability safety and performance of both hardware components and embedded software systems used in commercial vehicles. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in validation testing strong analytical skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced engineering environment.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute validation plans for electronic hardware and embedded software systems.
Perform functional environmental and durability testing for hardware components and software features.
Validate ECUs sensors wiring harnesses and associated software for compliance with specifications and industry standards.
Conduct software integration and regression testing to ensure system stability and performance.
Analyze test data identify issues and provide root cause analysis and corrective actions.
Collaborate with design engineers software developers suppliers and cross-functional teams to resolve issues.
Document test procedures results and provide detailed technical reports.
Support continuous improvement initiatives for validation processes and tools.
Ensure adherence to safety and regulatory requirements throughout the validation process.

Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering Computer Engineering Mechanical Engineering or related field.
3 5 years of experience in hardware and software validation within automotive or heavy truck manufacturing.
Strong knowledge of embedded systems ECUs sensors wiring harnesses and related hardware/software.
Familiarity with industry standards (e.g. SAE ISO) and validation methodologies.
Experience with CAN bus diagnostic tools and software validation frameworks.
Proficiency in data acquisition tools test equipment and debugging software.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Strong communication and documentation skills.
