Job Summary:
The Field Technician provides hands-on technical support across various field offices ensuring technology systems function smoothly. This role involves troubleshooting devices supporting security operations ensuring device compliance and providing exceptional customer service. Regular statewide travel is required to support multiple locations.

Responsibilities:
- Provide support for desktops laptops and mobile devices (Windows iOS Android).
- Use a device management system to organize distribute updates and ensure device compliance.
- Collaborate with the endpoint security team to monitor user accounts and secure the environment.
- Train users on secure file transfer and data-sharing platforms.
- Manage user group and computer accounts in a centralized directory service.
- Assist with security awareness training and phishing simulations.
- Manage support requests and document system configurations using an online ticketing system.
- Provide on-site technical leadership for troubleshooting issues such as imaging or LAN connectivity.
Required Skills & Certifications:
- 3 years of experience in field technician support.
- Desktop and laptop troubleshooting experience (Windows 10/11).
- Mobile device support experience (iOS & Android).
- Network administration and support experience (TCP/IP DNS DHCP).
- Software installation and maintenance experience.
- Peripheral device configuration experience.
- Help desk/telephone support experience.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- Strong communication abilities for both technical and non-technical audiences.
Preferred Skills & Certifications:
- CompTIA A Network or similar IT certifications.
- Experience with macOS support.
- Google Workspace administration experience.
- Experience in government or conservation organizations.
Special Considerations:
- Regular statewide travel to various offices (average 2 days per week).
