Job Summary:
The Athletic Trainer provides support in an outpatient clinic setting assisting with general orthopedics sports medicine and related patient care. The role involves tasks such as triage assisting with procedures like ultrasound and PRP injections and managing patient flow within the clinic.

Responsibilities:
- Triage patients in an outpatient clinic setting.
- Assist with ultrasound and PRP injections.
- Support general orthopedics sports medicine and related specialties.
- Manage patient flow and room preparation.
- Collect patient data and specimens.
- Obtain and record vital signs.
- Communicate patient status and report changes in condition.
- Perform EKGs.
- Answer phone calls and direct them accordingly.
- Perform data entry into electronic medical database systems.
- Document patient care and related duties appropriately.
- Coordinate equipment and supply needs.
Required Skills & Certifications:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a clinic setting.
- Outpatient Clinic Experience
- BLS certification.
- Certified Athletic Trainer certification.
Preferred Skills & Certifications:
- Experience with EPIC and SBAR systems.
Special Considerations:
- No RTO allowed after booking.
- Call-offs or additional RTO may result in cancellation.
- Must provide own stethoscope.
- Temp to hire role with the option to hire on perm after 13-week contract.
Scheduling:
- 40 hours per week.
- 8-hour days 08:00 - 17:00.
- No call float or weekend requirements.
- Scheduling is per clinic needs.
