Job Summary:
The Arizona Department of Health Services is seeking a Salesforce Developer to support Licensing Management System (LMS) operations. The developer will be responsible for developing new modules enhancing existing functionality writing technical documentation gathering requirements and performing routine updates within a large and highly customized Salesforce environment. The role involves working as part of an Agile development team writing and reviewing Lightning Web Components and Apex code.

Responsibilities:
- Develop new modules and enhance existing functionality within the Salesforce environment.
- Write edit and review Lightning Web Components and Apex code.
- Write technical documentation.
- Gather requirements from stakeholders.
- Perform routine updates to the Salesforce system.
- Translate user requirements into business functional and test scenarios.
- Evaluate information from multiple sources and consolidate details into functional requirements.
- Integrate Salesforce with other applications via real-time batch sync/async methods.
Required Skills & Certifications:
- Considerable working knowledge of multiple programming languages database management systems and development platforms.
- Demonstrated experience in Salesforce application development.
- Solid understanding of Salesforce architecture and API.
- Experience writing Visualforce and Apex classes and triggers.
- Proficiency in HTML JavaScript SQL Java or C# and SOAP-based web services.
- Strong understanding of relational databases.
- Experience with scripted data loader web services cloud or on-premise middleware and other enterprise integrating technologies.
- Bachelors degree plus 5 or more years of programming and analysis experience (or equivalent experience).
Preferred Skills & Certifications:
- Experience as a Salesforce developer or Salesforce Developer certification.
Special Considerations:
- Must be available for in-person interviews within 1 week of the posting close date.
- Must be able to start within 2 weeks of an offer being made.
- Position is hybrid approximately 80% in office and 20% remote.
Scheduling:
- 40 hours per week.
- Start Date: 02/23/2026
- End Date: 6 Months from projected start date
