Job Summary

Job Title: Project Manager (Agile Medicaid/MMIS PMP Certified)

Location: Atlanta GA (Hybrid)

We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualification

Key Responsibilities

Support the Project Manager with assigned project management tasks while following leadership directives
Manage multiple project tasks on a daily basis and oversee all aspects of assigned projects
Ensure projects and programs align with strategic objectives and organizational priorities
Track and report on project success criteria outcomes metrics testing and deployment activities
Develop detailed project plans schedules estimates and roadmaps across all project phases
Provide regular status reporting on milestones deliverables dependencies risks and issues to leadership and stakeholders
Coordinate interdependencies between technology operations and business processes
Collaborate with business owners to identify gaps risks and areas of concern and document solutions
Manage project scope change control and quality assurance activities
Support vendor selection proposal evaluation and statement of work development
Act as an internal quality control reviewer to ensure adherence to scope schedule budget and quality standards
Monitor and manage project risks and issues to resolution
Prepare and deliver project documentation progress reports presentations and proposals for diverse audiences
Support enterprise initiatives related to data management governance business process automation and administrative simplification
Perform other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

Strong knowledge of SDLC methodologies including Agile Iterative and Waterfall
Demonstrated leadership diplomatic and motivational skills with the ability to lead across diverse teams
Proven problem-solving ability in collaborative and fast-paced environments
Excellent written verbal and presentation communication skills
Ability to adapt to changing priorities and manage competing demands
Experience managing projects to successful delivery within scope schedule and budget
Ability to work independently as well as in a team-oriented environment
Strong analytical research and decision-making capabilities
Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 (Outlook Word Excel PowerPoint Visio) and Microsoft Project
Experience using project management and SDLC tools
Commitment to fostering a diverse inclusive and collaborative work environment

Education & Certification

Bachelors degree in Management Health Administration Business Information Systems Information Technology Computer Science or a related field (preferred)
Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification required

Required Skills

Experience working with business stakeholders in a cross-functional matrix environment
Requirements gathering documentation and validation
End-to-end SDLC project execution
Agile project methodologies
Creation and management of Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM)
Intermediate proficiency with project planning and collaboration tools

Highly Desired Skills

Experience with tools such as Jira Confluence Jama Smartsheet Steelray or similar platforms
Project artifact management and collaborative documentation tools
Experience presenting to senior leadership and executive stakeholders
Knowledge of healthcare systems including Medicaid managed care MMIS health claims processing or population health management
