Role Description

The Associate will be responsible for performing legal research drafting legal documents attending court hearings preparing case files and advising clients. Day-to-day tasks also include conducting depositions negotiating settlements and collaborating with senior attorneys on complex cases. The role may also involve representing clients in various legal proceedings.

Qualifications

Legal research and analytical skills
Experience in drafting legal documents and court filings
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Client advisory and case management skills
Negotiation and courtroom experience
Ability to work collaboratively with a team and independently
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
Membership in good standing with the New Jersey State Bar
Prior experience in a law firm setting is a plus
Excellent organizational and time-management skills
