Job Summary
Were looking for a superstar Procurement Specialist to be a part of our collaborative and fun atmosphere. TSDP is a bespoke full-service residential interior design firm responsible for coordination and implementation of all phases of architecture and design from concept through construction and furniture installation.
Responsibilities will include:
Generating and processing Purchase Orders via email and e-commerce.
Requesting vendor invoices for payment processing.
Placing credit card orders and/or coordinating check payments with Accounting.
Tracking and monitoring Purchase Orders with vendors by both phone and email.
Maintaining project production schedules and confirming delivery dates.
Tracking delivery of merchandise with warehouse and/or delivery service.
Entering notes and status updates in our Studio Designer software program.
Generating Expediting Reports for staff project meetings and monthly client billing.
Resolving service adjustments for delivery issues damages and repairs.
Required Skills:
Strong written and verbal communication demonstrating proper writing and grammar skills.
Detail oriented with the ability to prioritize and manage projects in a fast-paced environment.
Highly organized with the ability to develop effective solutions.
Self-starter with the ability to multi-task with minimal supervision.
Ability to work collaboratively with vendors warehouses and other professions including colleagues.
Flexibility professionalism humility and a sense of humor.
Motivated persistent and professional across all communications.
Experience:
Ideally the candidate would have an Associates or Bachelors degree although this is not required to be considered for the role.
Minimum of two years of experience working in a similar role (e.g. Purchasing or Logistics)
Bespoke residential interior design industry experience a plus.
Studio Designer software experience a plus.
