Job Summary
Project Overview
The Workday HRIS Business Systems Analyst serves as a key link between business stakeholders and the IT development team. This role supports the delivery of new system implementations and enhancements to existing HRIS solutions ensuring business needs are accurately translated into technical requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a liaison between business units and the IT development team during system development and enhancement initiatives
- Support the development and implementation of new systems and improvements to existing systems
- Evaluate new applications and identify system requirements
- Analyze evolving business needs and emerging IT developments
- Recommend system alternatives or enhancements aligned with business objectives
- Prepare and deliver clear communications and presentations on system changes enhancements or options
- Perform assigned tasks under the direction of a project manager
Required Qualifications
- Experience working as a Business Systems Analyst or similar role
- Experience supporting system development enhancements or implementations
- Ability to analyze business requirements and translate them into system needs
- Experience collaborating with IT development teams and business stakeholders
Technical & Soft Skills
- HRIS and systems analysis expertise (Workday experience implied by role title)
