About the Role

The Project Superintendent leads on-site field operations for construction projects ensuring work is completed safely on schedule within budget and according to contract standards. This role is critical to project execution and requires strong leadership communication and technical skills.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee daily field operations and project progress from pre-construction through close-out.
Coordinate subcontractors trades and onsite personnel to meet project milestones.
Enforce safety policies and OSHA standards across the jobsite.
Review and interpret drawings specifications and schedules to ensure accurate execution.
Maintain project documentation including daily reports logs and quality control records.
Facilitate communication between project stakeholders (owners engineers inspectors subcontractors).
Address and resolve on-site issues proactively to minimize delays.
Conduct regular onsite inspections and ensure compliance with contract requirements.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor s degree in Construction Management Engineering or related field (preferred).
Experience: Minimum 5 years of construction field experience with proven experience as a Superintendent on commercial or heavy civil projects.
Skills:
- Strong leadership and team-building skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Proficient with construction documentation and software
- In-depth understanding of safety standards and regulations
Certifications: OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety (preferred).
