JOB TITLE: Aircraft Electrical Technician
LOCATION: Stratford CT
PAY RATE: $30-40/hour

Qualifying Questions:

Summary:

Construct aircraft wiring harnesses from electrical schematics and engineering drawings.
Route wiring harnesses in large electronics racks and terminate to rear disconnect panels.
Fabricate install diagnose and repair electronic and electromechanical equipment.
Build test boxes and laboratory test equipment to support system integration testing.
Troubleshoot and modify systems based on written or verbal instructions.
Perform mechanical mounting and general fabrication tasks for rack equipment.

Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED
Strong electronic and electrical diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
Experience fabricating and terminating military wiring harnesses and connectors.
Experience with electronic and electrical fabrication in lab or manufacturing environments.
Mechanical and general fabrication skills.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings schematics and technical documentation.
Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
