Job Summary

Qualified professional with 10 years of industry experience as Sourcing Lead.
Experience of working with Marine/Boat industry understating of ABYC Standard requirements
Working exposure to manufacturing processes of various engineering commodities for passenger car parts ( Sheet metal Machined items Plastic Rubber assemblies Pump Motors lights Harness etc.)
Hands on exposure to new product development with supplier end. Technical support to vendor for process mapping machine selection
Cost calculations for reference/target cost and negotiations for new components
Define sourcing strategies for NPD Identify Potential suppliers RFQ/RFQ Supplier quote analysis and providing comprehensive report / negotiation dossier to Commodity team for Price negotiation discussion with Supplier
Supplier onboarding Supplier assessment.
Component development as per PPAP CAPA and Problem solving
Drawing reading good knowledge of GD&T.
Defining production process based on drawings & spec. for given parts sub-assembly & assembly
Working experience of various should costing software like aPriori Costimator TcPCM
Component development as per PPAP CAPA and Problem solving
Exposure to IATF 16949 QMS
Good in communication ability to lead team & drive project

Qualification:
Bachelors degree or equivalent of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job may be considered. Bachelor of Science or Degree in Engineering
