Location : Jersey City NJ-Hybrid

JD for Engineering Manager:

Senior Engineering Manager supporting managed services for payment-processing platforms within the financial services domain with direct ownership of vulnerability remediation audit response and risk mitigation

Deep hands-on expertise in managing payment-related vulnerabilities aligned with PCI DSS SOX and internal security control frameworks
Strong technical oversight across Linux (OS hardening patching CIS benchmarks) Java (JVM vulnerabilities dependency management TLS cryptography) and middleware platforms (application servers messaging integration layers)
Proven capability to drive end-to-end vulnerability lifecycle management including triage exploitability analysis compensating control validation remediation execution and evidence collection
Extensive experience leading technical audit calls articulating threat models risk impact mitigation strategies and control effectiveness to security risk and compliance stakeholders
Skilled in analysing scanner findings (SAST/DAST/infra scans) identifying false positives and formally documenting risk validation and suppression justifications
Strong ability to translate complex system-level and application-level security issues into audit-ready technical narratives supported by logs configurations and architecture artifacts
Effective coordination with SRE platform infrastructure and application teams to ensure remediation actions are technically sound repeatable and sustainable
Advanced technical communication skills enabling precise definition and projection of security posture remediation timelines and residual risk during audits and governance reviews
