Job Summary

Title: Engineering Technician
Client: Heavy Machine Manufacturing
Duration: 24 Months (ext possible)
Location: Milan IL 61264
Shift: 3rd Shift (10:00 PM 6:30 AM)

Role Summary

Perform instrumented tests to verify machine performance
Support product verification & validation (ADV group)

Key Duties

Set up and run lab/field tests
Install instrumentation & collect data
Develop data acquisition programs
Prepare test reports for design teams
Guide test operators
Coordinate with shop & field teams

Test Setup & Operations

Assemble test rigs (hand tools cranes hydraulics cables)
Lift up to 25 lbs; bending/kneeling required
Monitor & adjust test controls
Inspect & repair test specimens
Document all test activity (web-based system)
Perform emergency shutdowns if needed
Maintain & clean lab
Pick up parts & run errands

Preferred Background

Machinery repair/mechanical experience
Read drawings & layouts
MS Office & basic Windows skills
Work independently
Servo-hydraulic/hydraulic systems (plus)
