Job Summary
description:
Prioritizes and performs a wide variety of clinical laboratory tests on various biological specimens. Reviews evaluates documents and reports results. Preserves confidentiality of patients and follows lab safety and maintenance protocols. Serves as technical consultant upon delegation by the medical director and mentor to laboratory personnel and trains and supervises trainees laboratory assistants and clerks as needed.
requirement:
Day Shift 4 x 10s. Days will be consecutive. Start time 9am. 5 years of experience preferred. Cerner and EPIC experience preferred. Sr CLS or Lead CLS experience and Work Experience:Bachelors Degree in medical technology clinical laboratory science biological sciences chemical sciences or allied health technologies or equivalent: RequiredThree years clinical laboratory experience: PreferredLicenses/Certifications:Valid Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) license in state of employment: Required in CACurrent certification from American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) or National Credentialing Agency for Labs (NCA): Preferred
